Three tips to keeping your fishing hooks organized in your tackle box
First of the Flambeau Tackle Boxes are the BEST! The are great priced and easy to bring and store. For my I do several types of fishing so I have a tackle box for each one. It may sound simple but the biggest thing you will want to do is make sure you have you hooks in the right box and organized for the type of fishing you will do.
First thing is separate your box between Fresh Waster, Bay/Channel and Offshore. These are the three main types of fishing the average fisher will use. You will not likely use your frog gig when trying to catch a black tip shark so make sure you have you stuff in it own box.
Second, classify them by shape J hooks vs Circle Hook. If you are a fisherman/woman you will know the difference and what they are used for. I wont go into that now.
Third separate the shapes in to size. You will not catch a crocker on a hook meant to catch a Tarpon.
Hint: consider labeling you boxes with what you plan on catching with each hook.
Fishing is a great thing to do and a lot of fun as well. If you go organized it will be even better. Be safe and Happy Fishing.
